I love meringue, whipped cream and berries and so I decided to make the Garden Cake. The cake, probably meant for 10 people, was eaten in a very very short period of time by my husband, sister and obviously myself.
It is extremely light (try to use 1/3 less sugar, of the given amount) and perfect for a hot summer day.
I am already planning to make the cake again for my nephew’s 3. birthday. Lucky chap
