Paris

Wanderlust just hit me. Last week, you read tiny stories about Copenhagen and New York. Today I share some insights on Paris.

The first time that I have been to Paris, was at the age of 19. My aunt traveled there with me for 5 days after I passed my A-levels.

Since she has lived in Paris as an Au-Pair in the 70ies, she was able to show me around some beautiful places. I especially enjoyed the Quartier Latin and the Marais, the jewish quarter in Paris.

Since I am married to an Englishman, I doubt that I’ll be back anytime soon ;) but how cute is this wallpaper from Anthropologie?

…and this fun 3D book…

Penguin Classics

Over the weekend I went thoroughly through hundreds of books at my parents library and loved holding antiques in my hands.

After sorting through all of them, my hands where literally black from the dust. But I once more appreciated the amazing gift one has to write and read.

As I am slowly starting to collect books myself, I was especially happy to find out that the Penguin has a collection of Hardcover Classics, which look and feel beautiful and make a perfect gift for anyone.

Have a beautiful weekend!

New York

It was my last trip as a flight attendant and one that I’ll never forget. My trip to NYC in August 2008.

Since then, I dreamed of visiting NYC one day again. For now, I am happy looking through the following books at Anthropologie.

If London is a watercolor, New York is an oil painting.
